Runs entirely in your browser

Free QR Code Generator

Make a high-resolution QR code for a link, your Wi-Fi, a business card or a WhatsApp chat. No account, no watermark, no expiry — and your data never leaves this page.

Send people straight to a page, product or booking form.

Only http:// and https:// links can be encoded.

Fill in the form and your QR code appears here.

Vector SVG for print, PNG for screens. This code never expires and has no scan limit.

Nothing is uploaded. The code is built by JavaScript running on your device — your links, passwords and contact details never reach our servers.

Why this one

A generator that does not hold your codes hostage

Most free QR sites route every scan through their own redirect. Those codes stop working the day the pricing changes. These do not.

Nothing is uploaded

Encoding happens in your browser. Wi-Fi passwords and contact details never touch a server, so there is nothing to breach.

No expiry, no scan limits

Static codes with the content baked into the pattern. No redirect, no dashboard, nothing to cancel.

Vector output for print

SVG exports scale to any size without a soft edge. PNG and WebP are there for screens and social.

Real styling control

Gradients, module shapes, custom corner colours and a centre logo, with error correction adjusted automatically.

No sign-up, no watermark

No email wall, and no trial that stamps a logo on your code then asks for a card to remove it.

Fast and accessible

Keyboard navigable, screen-reader labelled, and light enough to work on a slow connection.

How it works

Three steps, about twenty seconds

  1. 1

    Pick a type

Website, Wi-Fi, vCard, email, SMS, WhatsApp and more. Each writes the right payload format so the scanning phone knows what to do with it.

  2. 2

    Fill in the content

The preview updates as you type. Nothing is submitted anywhere — there is no generate button to wait on.

  3. 3

    Style it and download

Change colours, module shapes and corners, drop a logo in the middle, then export SVG for print or PNG for screens.

Every type

Pick the format that fits the job

Each generator writes the exact payload the scanning app expects, with the separators escaped properly.

Frequently asked questions

Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. Every generator on the site is free, with no account, no watermark and no scan limit. The site is paid for by the ads around the tool, which is why they are there.
Do my QR codes ever expire?
No. These are static QR codes: the content is encoded directly into the pattern, so there is no redirect through our servers and nothing that can be switched off or rate-limited later. The trade-off is that you cannot edit the destination after printing.
Does my data get uploaded anywhere?
No. The encoding runs in JavaScript inside your browser. Your URL, Wi-Fi password or contact details are never sent to us, so there is nothing for us to leak or hand over. You can confirm it by opening your browser's network tab while you generate a code.
What size should I export for printing?
Download the SVG — it is a vector, so it stays sharp from a business card to a billboard. If you need a raster file, export PNG at 1024 px or larger. A printed code should be at least 2 cm wide, and it can be scanned from roughly ten times its own width.
Can I put my logo in the middle?
Yes, in the Design tab. Keep it under about 20% of the width and leave the clear-space option on. Adding a logo raises error correction to level H automatically, which lets the code survive up to 30% of it being obscured. Always test the printed result with a real phone.
Why is my QR code not scanning?
Almost always one of four things: too little contrast between foreground and background, an inverted code, a missing quiet zone, or too much data in one symbol. Keep the quiet zone at four modules, use dark on light, and shorten the payload where you can.
